This is my analysis of 3 different contents pages each from different music magazines that my indie music magazine "indie-pendent" is going to have similar aspects of. It shows how the layout of the music magazines vary and are all creatively different.
This is my analysis of 3 different contents pages each from different music magazines that my indie music magazine "indie-pendent" is going to have similar aspects of. It shows how the layout of the music magazines vary and are all creatively different.
From these contents pages I found that for a younger audiences who read NME and Q it's best to have a lot of little images along with short amounts of text to keep them interested and with older audiences who may read UNCUT there is just one simple large photo of the main article. This will affect my magazine as I'd like it to be in the middle, as in having a few images with text instead of quite lot or just one.
